Independent provider notes
American Express Business Blueprint (formerly Kabbage): what it publishes and how to evaluate an offer
These notes describe what Amex Business Blueprint publishes on its own site as of September 27, 2026, and how to evaluate an offer from it or any similar provider. Fast Mula LLC has no relationship with Amex Business Blueprint, has not underwritten with it, and does not rank providers.
What the provider publishes
American Express publishes a branded business line of credit under Business Blueprint, the successor to the Kabbage brand.
The page states that loans are issued by American Express National Bank, with draw-specific loan fees and repayment terms subject to eligibility.

Structures involved
- Business line of credit with per-draw loan fees and terms
Each structure is priced and repaid differently. See how the structures compare.
Questions to ask before you apply
- Kabbage is not a separate current lender; treat older "Kabbage" comparisons as historical.
- Ask how each draw is priced and repaid, since terms are set per draw rather than as a single rate on the line.
- Who is the contracting party on the agreement, and is it a loan or a purchase of receivables?
- At what stages is credit checked, and is it a soft or hard inquiry?
- What is the total dollar cost, the payment amount and frequency, and the term?
- What happens if you repay early, and what happens in a slow month (reconciliation or interest-only options)?
- Are there origination, draw, maintenance, or closing fees, in dollars?
How to compare a written offer
Put the amount, factor rate or APR, fees, and term into the factor rate calculator to get total cost, payment size, and an estimated APR on stated assumptions. Then compare against any other written offer on the same basis. A provider’s marketing page cannot be compared; only its written offer can.
