SBA loan
A loan under a U.S. Small Business Administration program.
A loan made under an SBA program. For 7(a) and 504 loans, a participating lender makes the loan and the SBA guarantees part of it; for microloans (up to $50,000, repayment terms up to seven years per sba.gov), SBA-funded nonprofit intermediaries make the loans directly. Fast Mula LLC is not an SBA lender. Programs, eligibility, and timing (education).
How it appears in a contract
Lender loan documents plus SBA forms and guarantee-fee disclosures.
Worked example
A 10-year 7(a) working-capital loan spreads payments far longer than any online product, at the cost of weeks of process and documentation.
